Boston does not have the weight or power of NYC. Yes it's sucks that 4 people and an animal died in the attack. Times that by 1000 and that my town. They closed down the city because a pathetic piece of Serbian garage was hiding in a boat. Go Yankees . Fuck you Boston and your dirtbag redsox. Clemens should have been there to take a couple of nails. Grow up Boston, drunk idiots.
Go Cuse!

Update amigos
The Cuse lost and that sucks but so be it. They will now move on to the ACC. Jimmy should retire. With the Bernie fine stuff and everything else, James please call it a day.
The rutgers situation. Kids in this day and age need to grow up. The coach was a loser but you have to stand up for yourself. I played sports in college. If a coach threw a ball at me I would have pummeled him. America stand up for yourselves. Young loser gamers drop the joints and get a life. This loser Rice, I would have just fired him because he was a shitty coach. He also looked like a child molester like coach creep from duke.
Hitting the movies, later. Also lunch at our fav Pulinos!
America please take a stand against weakness.

The end of an era. It's that simple.
Friday March 15th, 2013 marks the end of an era. It is sad and is purely reflective of the arrogant bullish world of college football. Syracuse University will play Georgetown University for the last time as co-members in the Big East BBall tourney. Even though I played soccer I went to SU for the love of the basketball team I admired in the 1970's. The fact the Big East is now history for the most part cuts like a knife. I was proud to be a member of Big East competition. I have accepted the ACC but I don't like it. The times are a changing. I can't see jimmy retiring in the Big East. SU 69, GT 65. Go Cuse!

Hey there
It's Christmas time for those of you who have families enjoy! I don't have a family but just a small group of people who I love and care for. I think some important issues need to be addresses:
1. I hate giving gifts to people you barely know. Fuck off. This includes doormen, postal workers, etc. do your job and shut the fuck up .
2. I saw a good movie today called On the Road with that ugly cunt whore Kristen Stewart. It was actually very good. That scank did a decent job. I can't believe a pig like that sucks the cock of a scurvy looking pasty looking Patterson. They look like they stink of cigs.
3. Syracuse lost to Temple. Fuck. It's early.
4. Pulinos for Christmas eve lunch tmor!!!!!!!!!
Then off the Nevis!
Have a nice fucking night.

Some holiday observations.
Just a few holiday opinions.
1. Thank god for tourists who spend money in our city. Yes they are annoying but they do not know better. At least they spend dough.
2. Transplants. The worst thing that happened to NYC . People who are petrified by NYC. You should go home. This situation, this city is not for you. Just go home.
3. Locals, salt of the earth.
Go Syracuse hoops looking good.

Exactly, black Friday. Look at the lines at the stores. Black Friday. Stay in your homes. Hide your children. I am serious. Be scared for your lives.
Have a great safe weekend everyone.

Are you kidding
I started this blog back in 2007 as a joke and thousands of views have occurred. Why? I don't even care if people see it. I don't even know many people anymore. Weird.
I have only posted sparingly anyway.
Concentrating on writing and solidarity.
But for those of you who celebrate family enjoy thanksgiving.
Rutgers going to Big Ten is a great move both athletically and a academically. Like the big ten.
But go 'cuse . We are going to a bowl game with Ryan nassib at the helm. He will be a solid sleeper in the nfl draft.
Looking forward to the weekend, I also want to recommend a movie for everyone. Silver lining play book. Good one, if I have ever seen a character kind of reflect my life it's this one. And I am not talking about bobby d's role.
Laurie how are the ducks?
Jk

Happy to be back as usual!
A couple of observations as usual.
Why do schools like delbarton cover up sex abuse and rape? Why do parents and guardians who know that rape is a common occurrence at delbarton still send their kids there. Insecurity. Non sense.
I graduated from scum barton in the 80's. Would never sent my son there. We are NYC Stuyvesant and Cornell bound without the rapists.
Hate to have a hate rant but so be it.
Go yanks and the cuse'?

It's a new day!!!
In my last bit of scripture I failed to mention a few things about NYC.
1. Chelsea Piers. If you are a parent and you care about kids how could you not love this place. It is awesome. I have hit more golf balls, thrown more bowling balls, climbed more rocks, drank more micro brewed beer, skated on more ice and obviously enjoyed the view of beautiful NJ coast. FUN.
2. 23rd Street. For my money, this is the best street in NYC. You can't beat the 23rd Street theatres for a flick and hit the Pier. The character of 23 rd Street is unmatched. One of the best little places to experience is the great establishment called Live Bait. Don't miss it. Oh and yes, there is an Outback, I just had an Outback dinner with the love of my life. If we get married and I certainly plan on on getting married at some point in my life, we will have a party there. It won't be the engagement party but we will stop in for a bite.
3. Houstons. Ever since they shut down the Park Ave CC, this place is booming. Great, I mean great food!! I love it. 28th and Park. Actually this place will be a great place for a wedding get together.
4. The Port Authority. Suprisingly good place to hang, don't ask me why but it is.
5. Bronx Zoo. Don't miss it.
Heading out.

My life in NYC - Reflections
After all these years of spending my time in NYC I have spent a lot of time reflecting. I have the following to say:
1. I miss Moran's. This World Financial Center Piece of Work shaped and symbolized many wall street types and wannabees over the years. It symbolized what we were all about in the late 1980's and early 1990's. It was a place where you could be a billionaire, zillionaire or zero-naire and it didn't matter. We all had fun and it showed. Sad they took the insurance dough though. The new place looks like a cafeteria. At least some other new places have taken over like SWNY. Stll not the same.
2. In general, the WTC. I don't want to rehash what I lived and everyone else in the area lived on 9/11. This situatation is so personal to me and friends. We safely and lucidly move on, it will always be part of my life. A deep part of my life. A deep part of all of our lives.
3. Robert Chambers. It may be looked upon as kind of strange, but I want to speak about Chambers. It intrigues me that he has run into the troubles he has over the last 20 years. People make their choices, and he has certainly made his. He has and will pay his price, probably for the rest of his life. He will not see the light of day again. I am not condoning the murder he has committed or the drug problems he has endured. I just feel that I, personally, may have fallen into the same traps he did. I'm not exactly sure where he is from, but I know where I'm from. It can be tough to live up to certain standards, also, addictions are tough to overcome. It is a shame that his life has amounted to so little at this point, so much wasted talent, So much potential lost. Maybe it is tabloid facination, maybe it is a story of a real guy who has just gone the wrong way. We'll see.
4. Hogs and Heffers. This NYC gem represents the world of the lower west side. Great place, tough area, cool people.
5. Grammercy Park - could be the nicest neighborhood in NYC and all of the world. How does someone afford to pay 18K per month in rent? Who knows, but a great area!!! Special times.
6. GMJC will be back!!!
7. Hot spots - The Bar Bat, Webster Hall, McMenimins, McFaddens and the Oyster Bar.
8. Central Park Zoo. Speakes for itself.
I'll be back.
